What bulb does it take, and is it included?

One E26 LED bulb, not included. There's no wattage cap listed for this fixture so a standard LED bulb works fine. For a warm feel go 2700K, for a brighter look go 3000K. The steel shade directs light mostly downward, so bulb brightness matters more here than on a diffused shade.

What are the exact dimensions?

19.69 × 19.69 inches diameter, max total height 66.93 inches (500 × 500 × 1700 mm). Height is fully adjustable — you set the exact drop during install.

How high should I hang it above the table or island?

Around 28 to 34 inches from the surface to the bottom of the shade is standard. At 19.7 inches wide the dome has strong visual presence, so the lower end of that range (28–30 inches) works well for most islands and dining tables.

Can I use two or three over a longer surface?

Yes, grouping two or three FARO pendants in a row over a longer island or table is a common approach. Space them roughly every 24 to 30 inches along the surface. You'll need a separate ceiling box for each pendant.

How stiff is the cord? How close does it sit to the ceiling?

It does mean the canopy sits slightly away from the ceiling rather than flush against it. This is part of the design. If you need it flush, it's not the right fit — but for most installs the gap is minimal and not noticeable once the fixture is at the right height.
