Color Mint

It's just a pendant. But it's the thing everyone asks about.
A painted steel shade in mint with a pine wood detail at the top. Simple shape, clean finish, and just enough colour to make a white kitchen feel like it was actually designed rather than assembled.

The CAP works because it doesn't try too hard. One fixture, one colour, and the whole room has a focal point it didn't have before. It sits well over a kitchen counter, dining table, hallway, or bedside — anywhere you want a single light that pulls its weight visually without overwhelming the space.

The pine wood accent keeps it from reading as purely industrial. It's a small detail but it's the right one — adds warmth, ties into natural material interiors, and gives the fixture a handmade quality that painted steel alone doesn't have.

Why people choose this fixture:

Mint finish adds a design moment to neutral and white interiors
Pine wood detail adds warmth and separates it from a standard painted pendant
Clean, simple shape works in kitchens, hallways, dining rooms, and bedrooms
Painted steel finish is durable and easy to clean
Adjustable height for flexible placement
Works alone or grouped in multiples over longer surfaces

Best for: Kitchen, hallway, dining room, bedroom
Style: Scandinavian, Japandi, modern minimalist
Light type: Focused downward light with soft ambient spill
Material feel: Painted steel with pine wood accent
Colour: Mint

Frequently Asked Questions

What bulb does it take, and is it included?

One E26 LED bulb, not included. For a warm feel go 2700K. For a brighter, more functional look go 3000K. The steel shade directs most of the light downward so bulb brightness will have a noticeable impact on the pool of light below.

What are the exact dimensions?

Shade diameter: 13.39 inches (340 mm). Max total height from ceiling to bottom of shade: 66.93 inches (1700 mm). Height is fully adjustable — you set the exact drop during install.

How high should I hang it?

Over a dining table or kitchen counter, 28 to 34 inches from the surface to the bottom of the shade is standard. In a hallway, hang it high enough to clear head height — typically 7 feet from the floor minimum. The cord is adjustable so you set the exact drop during install.

Can I group multiple CAP pendants together?

Yes. Two or three in a row work well over a longer kitchen island or dining table. You'll need a separate ceiling box for each. At 13.4 inches wide they space well at roughly 20 to 24 inches apart.

What is the wood accent made from?

Pine wood. A small element at the top of the shade where it meets the cord. Adds a natural touch and is what keeps this from reading as a purely industrial pendant.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, with an external dimmer switch or dimmable smart bulbs. No integrated dimmer in the fixture, so you can use whatever system you already have.

Is it approved for Canadian electrical code?

Yes. UL listed for both the USA and Canada (cUL), so it passes inspection and won't cause issues with insurance or a home sale.

Do I need an electrician?

It's a hardwired fixture that requires installation. If you're replacing an existing ceiling light on the same box, many people handle it themselves. If you're adding a new box or moving the location, use a licensed electrician.

How fast does it ship?

Ships from our Mississauga warehouse. 1 to 3 business days to Eastern Canada, 4 to 6 to Western Canada. Free shipping over $149.

What is the warranty?

2 years from date of purchase.

What if it doesn't work in the space?

30-day returns on uninstalled fixtures. Send it back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging, uninstalled and unmodified. Once installed, it's no longer eligible for return.
