The story behind this sleeping fox illustration

When I drew this fox, I was thinking about rest.

Not the kind of rest we take because we are exhausted…
but the kind we allow ourselves when we finally feel safe.

Curled into a perfect circle, like a small resting sun, this fox seems to have forgotten the world for a moment.

While drawing him, I wanted his presence to feel soft.
A presence that gently calms the room the moment you walk in.

Nothing dramatic.
Just calm.

The symbolism of the fox: intuition, calm and comfort

Foxes are often seen as symbols of intuition and adaptability.

They move quietly through the forest, attentive to things others may not yet notice.

But this fox carries another message.

To slow down.

To pause for a moment.
To breathe.
To rediscover the quiet strength that lives in stillness.

When you bring this fox into your home, you invite:

• quiet intuition
• a deep sense of calm
• simple, comforting warmth

A gentle reminder that you are allowed to pause.
