DESCRIPTION

Don't waste your time and effort with homemade hammock-hanging methods. With this Chain Hammock Hanging Kit, you'll have all the appropriate hardware in place and ready to use. In just a few minutes you'll be able to enjoy your hammock in a safe, secure manner.

The Chain Hanging Kit is the safe and easy way to hang your hammock or hammock chair from trees in your yard or from wooden posts you have anchored into place. You won't have to worry about your product slipping because of old rusty nails that were never designed to withstand such a weight load.

The hanging kit comes with all the items you'll need to support your hammock, meaning you don't have to make repeated trips to the hardware store or resort to a trial-and-error method. These materials have been effectively tried and tested over the years to provide the proper support. Each kit includes two eye bolts with hooks, two S-hooks, and two pieces of chain. Each item is zinc-coated to withstand the elements – those cold, wet winters and those hot, humid summers. And each is specifically assembled to make your hammock more secure. After deciding where the product should be placed, you will determine how high to place the hardware. The eye bolts are screwed into the tree or the support and then attached to the S-hook via the chain, which can be adjusted according to the desired height.

The chain hanging kit will work properly with any product, those with and without a spreader bar. It takes only a few minutes to install, leaving you the rest of the day to start reminiscing on or making pleasant memories.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Make sure you are installing this kit in a solid structure. Screwing EyeBolt MUST be screwed in all the way until Eye is resting against the structure. Leaving a gap the between eyebolt and the structure will eventually cause the exposed eyebolt pin to break.

Determining the appropriate beam size for your hammock bolt-in anchors involves considering several factors, such as the material of the beam, the load capacity of the anchors, and the intended use of the hammock. Here are some general guidelines:

Material and Strength of the Beam:
- If you're installing bolt-in anchors into a wooden beam, the beam should be a solid and structurally sound piece of wood.
- For wooden beams, a common recommendation is to use a solid beam with a minimum size of 4x4 inches (approximately 10x10 cm) or larger, depending on the expected load and the specific recommendations of the bolt-in anchor manufacturer.
Load Capacity of Bolt-In Anchors:
- Check the load capacity specifications provided by the manufacturer of the bolt-in anchors. This information will guide you in selecting a beam size that can safely support the expected load.
Intended Use:
- Consider the number of people who will be using the hammock simultaneously and any dynamic forces that may be applied. Larger beams may be necessary for heavier loads or multiple users.
Professional Advice:
- If you have any doubts about the appropriate beam size or the structural integrity of the installation, it is advisable to consult with a structural engineer or a professional with experience in load-bearing structures.

The safety and stability of your hammock setup depend on proper installation and adherence to recommended specifications. If in doubt, it's always best to seek professional advice to ensure the safety and stability of your hammock installation.
