Tassels on the headstall. Andean caravan energy. A silicone straw cup in Llama — solid butter cream with a matching lid and a small llama slider riding the straw. The soft silicone straw supports baby-led weaning, and the cup works with or without it — so it doubles as an open training cup that supports healthy oral and speech development. The silicone tableware range picked up Mothers Always Right’s Best Silicone Baby Tableware award for 2026.

The size. It measures 7 × 7 × 8 cm / 2.7 × 2.7 × 3.3 in, holds 150 ml / 5.2 fl oz, and weighs 125 g / 4.4 oz — sized for toddler hands, not a commuter mug.

Common questions

What age do I introduce it?

Most pediatricians say 6–9 months. Some kids take to the straw on day one; others need a week of you demonstrating it, which feels as ridiculous as it sounds.

Straw cup or sippy cup?

Most guidance has shifted toward straws — the motion to draw liquid up a straw is closer to open-cup drinking than the bottle-like suck of a sippy spout.

Can my toddler use it without the straw?

Yes — the cup is designed to work both ways, and open-cup drinking supports oral and speech development.
