In my eager to create a universe of Horror and Slasher mixed with the wicked side of the human sexuality, I neglected to properly introduce the characters to the audience.It was action from the get-go, with little insight into the characters and their background stories. Therefore, when the slaughter and madness begins, the audience has no deep connection with any of the characters, making the movie, its story, much more difficult to swallow and cope.So when approaching the remake of SHREDDED, now named SHREDDED HALLOWEEN, I focused a lot of my efforts on introducing the main characters properly and portraying their personalities and background. This work has completely changed the story and the depth of it. I am confident that the audience now will feel a much stronger connection to its characters, hence making the new film much scarier than its older sibling.This is Horror at its finest.
